Privacy policy
ZEOKEL I.K.E. · Last updated: 03/11/2026
This policy explains how personal data is used when you visit zeokel.gr and contact ZEOKEL. It describes the current corporate information website. There is no online shop, customer registration system or newsletter.
1. Who is responsible
The controller is ZEOKEL I.K.E., based at Kavala Industrial Area, Municipality of Nestos, 64200, Greece. Tax ID: 803275212 · General Commercial Registry (GEMI): 193587430000.
For questions about your data or to exercise your rights, email [email protected] or call +30 25910 24000. You can also write to the address above, marked “Personal data protection”.
2. Data related to browsing
To deliver and protect the website, hosting and security infrastructure may process technical information such as your IP address, request date and time, page address, browser type, response codes and signs of malicious traffic. The purposes are operation, troubleshooting and website protection. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in secure and reliable operation (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)), with respect for your rights.
No traffic analytics tools, advertising pixels or automatically loaded social media content have been installed on the corporate pages. The homepage includes an optional Facebook embed that loads only after consent. Fonts and images are served by the website. For essential security and preference cookies, see the Cookie policy.
3. Contact and the preview form
When you email or call us, we use the information you choose to provide, such as your name, contact details and enquiry, to respond. For a possible partnership or transaction, processing is based on the steps you request before entering a contract (Article 6(1)(b)). For general enquiries, it is based on our legitimate interest in managing communications (Article 6(1)(f)). Providing information is optional, but we need a way to reply. Avoid sending sensitive data unrelated to your enquiry. The website form is a preview: its fields are checked locally in your browser and are neither sent nor stored by ZEOKEL. For actual contact, use the published email address or telephone number. This notice will be updated before actual submission is enabled.
4. Providers, Facebook and transfers
Technical information may be processed by hosting and security providers needed to operate the website. Cloudflare is used to deliver and protect traffic. Our external email provider processes correspondence when you choose to send us an email. Information may be disclosed to competent authorities where required by law.
The homepage includes an optional Facebook posts panel. Before consent, the panel makes no connection to Meta. After you accept the “Facebook / social media” category, content loads from Meta, which receives technical data such as your IP address and browser information and may use cookies or associate your visit with your account. Activation is based on consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw through “Cookie settings” in the footer. Withdrawal stops future loading of the panel; use your browser or Meta settings for third-party cookies already stored. The external link opens Facebook only when you select it. ZEOKEL has not installed Meta Pixel. Facebook’s terms and Meta privacy policy apply there. If you write to us on Facebook, the platform also processes the message and your account information.
Some email, network or social service providers may process data outside the EEA. Where ZEOKEL commissions such processing, the safeguards in Chapter V of the GDPR must apply, such as an applicable adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses. You may request information about the providers and safeguards relevant to specific processing. ZEOKEL has not installed its own advertising pixel. Optional Facebook activation is subject to the separate information and consent described above.
5. Retention
Your cookie choice is stored in your browser for up to 180 days, unless you delete or change it earlier. The preview form does not create an enquiry record. Direct correspondence is retained according to the time needed to handle the enquiry and, if a partnership results, to document the transaction and related legal obligations or claims.
Technical logs are retained for the time necessary to identify and investigate faults or security incidents, according to provider settings and commitments. No specific number of days is stated without confirmation of those settings. You may ask for the applicable period for a particular request or service using our contact email.
6. Rights and complaints
Depending on the legal basis and GDPR conditions, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing. Change cookie choices through “Cookie settings” in the footer.
Send your request to [email protected]. We normally respond within one month of receipt. If a lawful extension is needed because of the complexity or number of requests, you will be informed within the first month. Only information necessary to verify your identity may be requested.
You may complain to the Hellenic Data Protection Authority or the competent supervisory authority where you normally live or work. The corporate website does not use automated decision-making with legal or similarly significant effects, or profiling tools.
7. Policy changes
This policy is updated when services or processing practices change. The last update date appears at the top of the page. Legal framework: Regulation (EU) 2016/679 and applicable Greek legislation.
