Cookie policy
ZEOKEL I.K.E. · Last updated: 03/11/2026
ZEOKEL I.K.E. uses essential technologies on zeokel.gr for operation, security and remembering choices. The homepage also includes an optional Facebook embed that loads only after consent. ZEOKEL has not installed traffic analytics tools or Meta Pixel.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small files stored in your browser. Similar technologies, such as sessionStorage, can hold temporary technical information. Essential cookies support functionality requested by the visitor and do not require consent. Non-essential cookies require a prior, specific choice; browsing or scrolling does not count as acceptance.
2. What is used today
Remembering choices — Complianz
The Complianz plugin runs from this website. Cookies with the cmplz_ prefix store banner status, policy version and category choices: cmplz_banner-status, cmplz_policy_id, cmplz_functional, cmplz_consented_services, cmplz_preferences, cmplz_statistics and cmplz_marketing. Category values are preference settings; the presence of such a cookie does not mean that a corresponding tracking tool is installed.
Provider: zeokel.gr · purpose: remembering and applying your choice · duration: up to 180 days. No external consent-platform account is required and this installation does not send the cookie list to an external scanning service.
Website security and delivery
Website traffic passes through Cloudflare. If a security check is needed, essential cookies such as cf_clearance (proof of a completed check) or __cf_bm (protection against malicious automated traffic) may be used. They are not necessarily set on every visit. __cf_bm expires after 30 minutes of continuous inactivity; the duration of cf_clearance depends on challenge settings. They do not represent advertising consent. See Cloudflare’s official cookie information.
WordPress and administration
If you visit the login screen or sign in as an authorised administrator, additional essential authentication and login cookies are used, such as wordpress_test_cookie, wordpress_sec_*, wordpress_logged_in_* and wp-settings-*. Expiry depends on the session and the “remember me” choice. No login is needed to read the corporate pages. Additional WordPress emoji detection and remote avatars are disabled on public pages.
3. Facebook and other external pages
The homepage posts panel loads from Facebook only after you accept the “Facebook / social media” category. The provider is Meta Platforms Ireland Limited. On activation, Meta receives technical connection data and may use cookies for functionality, security, personalisation or advertising measurement, depending on your account login, browser and its settings. Third-party cookie names, lifetimes and presence vary by session and Meta choices; not all are necessarily set on every visit. See the current Meta cookie policy for cookies, purposes and lifetimes. Rejection keeps the panel inactive. Withdrawal through the footer stops future loading; use browser or Meta settings for third-party cookies already stored. The direct Facebook link remains available without activating the panel.
4. Changing your choice
The banner gives equal prominence to acceptance and “Essential only”. The latter rejects optional categories. The “Facebook / social media” category controls the optional homepage posts panel. Acceptance enables the connection to Meta; rejection prevents it. You can reopen “Cookie settings” in the footer and change your choice at any time. Greek and English pages on this domain share the same consent choice.
You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings. Deleting your choice may show the banner again. Blocking essential cookies may affect saved preferences or administrative login, but does not turn silence into consent. If JavaScript is disabled, use your browser settings to delete cookies; the content remains readable.
If a new optional service is added, this policy, the cookie record and its blocking configuration must first be updated. A general acceptance does not automatically cover new processing purposes.
